In this cozy, creative workshop, participants will design their own dream cottage and transform their drawing into a small woven tapestry using an assortment of yarns and weaving techniques. Aashita of Surface Studio will guide us through the process and help us finish our tapestry, ready to hang.
What Participants Learn

- Introduction to frame loom weaving
- Basic weaving techniques and creating texture with yarn
- Working with different yarns to build shapes and details

What Participants Take Home
- One handmade woven cottage tapestry
- The weaving loom kit used during the workshop
We'll provide: small weaving loom, tapestry needle, weaving needle, assortment of yarns and textures, and dowel or wooden stick for finishing.
Bring any food or drinks you'd like. This event is BYOB-friendly.
